Parambikulam Wildlife Sanctuary

Parambikulam Wildlife Sanctuary is located about 100 km from Palakkad/Coimbatore. The forest is very dense and has huge number of wildlife and bird life. The forest department organizes several activities that will interest any wildlife enthusiast. Be it trekking/hiking inside the forests, camping on tree houses in the middle of the forest, moonlight camping, jeep safaris and so on. The forest is very dense, and hence it is tough to spot wild animals. There may be an animal behind bush next to you, but you may not even realize!
