As the name suggests, this place is a famous location where several Indian movies have been shot. This is a huge place with green hills found all around.

Depending on which side you enter this place from, you can also spot Kamraj Sagar Dam at a distance. The entry to this dam is now closed for visitors. However, on the route to film shooting spot from Ooty, you will find a place where you get get down through a steep slope of pine trees, and can get close to the Kamraj Sagar Dam’s backwaters. It is a nice, calm, and peaceful lake, surrounded by green hills which will make you get lost in the beauty of the nature!
