Kovalam Beach

Kovalam Beach is a nice, pristine semi-white sand beach that is located at about 25 km from Trivandrum. Kovalam Beach is one of the popular beaches in this part of Kerala, and has the highest number of visitors! The commercial area of the beach has numerous visitors, street vendors, and people who offer various activities on the beach. If you continue ahead on one side (right side when you face the beach) along a mosque, and cross the small rocky terrain, you can see another beautiful beach that has absolutely no visitors! Even during the peak season time! It is a nice place to sit and silently enjoy the beautiful sunset! You can also spot several Jelly Fish around this side of the beach. The other side of the commercial part of the beach will lead you to a light house, that part of the beach is also called Light House Beach.
