Tavarekoppa Lion Safari

Tavarekoppa Lion Safari is an open zoo that is located 10 km from Shimoga (Shivamogga) town in Karnataka. The zoo is spread across 200 hectares of land. Unlike the other zoos, the animals here are not caged. Jeeps and Mini-buses are available for visitors, which takes a tour around the zoo. So for a change, humans are caged, and animals are let free 🙂
