Jaisalmer is also called “Golden City” due to the yellow sandstone that is available only in this part of the country. The buildings in this city is built by this sandstone. Due to the reflection of sunlight against this stone gives a “golden” view, the city is called Golden City. The second largest fort in India is located in this town, and is built with the golden stones. Lying in the heart of Thar desert, the town of Jaisalmer is gateway to many adventurous locations.
