Rajasthan

Rajasthan literally means “Place of Kings”, and is aptly named as this state has the history of being rules by numerous kings, and has several palaces and forts of all sizes built over a period of time. Every part of the state has some part of royal history behind it, and it is awesome to find some of the magnificent forts strategically built several hundreds of years back!

Apart from the forts and palaces which are found in abundance, you can also find national parks, bird sanctuaries, deserts, lakes, hill stations etc. The state is a true traveller’s paradise!
