Mysore Palace

Mysore Palace is the official residence of the Wodeyars, who were the rulers of the princely state of Mysore for hundreds of years. The palace is located in the heart of the city of Mysore. No visit to Mysore is complete without visiting the Mysore Palace. This palace is more beautiful during Dasara celebration where Golden Throne and Golden Elephant Seat are displayed. Shoes and cameras are not allowed inside the palace and must be left at the cloak room. The palace is illuminated with over 4000 bulbs only on Sundays and National Holidays between 7 and 8 pm, making it a spectacular view.
